First, download the latest version of Skype and install it over your previous one. After this process, make sure the built-in camera is installed correctly and then open Skype and go to Options > Video Options and use the down arrow to select the camera. Restart Skype and it should work.

Try reinstalling the driver. Or go to device manager and select on the camera and click on update driver option.
